FPGA/ASIC Verification Engineer – 31975 Direct Hire

You will be entrusted with crafting sophisticated verification test plans and self-checking test benches utilizing System Verilog, ensuring our designs meet rigorous standards. Your role will encompass developing comprehensive test strategies, including randomized and targeted testing, to achieve seamless functional coverage. Through collaboration with diverse teams, you will define product requirements and ensure design compliance. Robust presentation and technical briefing skills are essential as you showcase progress to stakeholders. Your candidacy requires the ability to obtain and maintain US Security Clearance.

**Essential Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s in a relevant field with 6+ years of experience or a Graduate Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience. Alternatively, 10+ years of experience in FPGA/ASIC design and verification.
- Competence in embedded system solutions leveraging FPGA and ASIC technologies.

**Desirable Skills:**
- Expertise in debugging FPGA firmware and troubleshooting hardware issues.
- Familiarity with Ethernet standards and cryptographic solutions for secure communications.
- Hands-on experience with Mentor Graphics Verification tools and FPGA/ASIC RTL design.
- Object-Oriented Programming skills in languages such as C++ or JAVA.
- Proficiency in UVM/OVM, System Verilog, and advanced verification tools.
- Scripting proficiency in languages like Bash, Perl, Python, or Tcl.
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
