Job Details
As the FP&A Director, you will play a crucial role in the financial planning and decision-making process of our company. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading the annual budgeting and strategic planning process in collaboration with senior leadership.
2. Developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
3. Providing insightful, data-driven business analyses to senior management.
4. Managing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
5. Collaborating with various departments to understand and monitor key business drivers.
6. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process.
7. Overseeing and managing the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, and operating plan.
8. Evaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
9. Guiding the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
10. Providing financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures, etc.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the FP&A Director position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting and Finance industry.
3. Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
4. Experience with financial software and database applications.
5. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
8. Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
9. International experience is a plus, as this role may involve working with global teams.
10. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
