Forklift Operator Compensation
• The pay for this position is $17 - $17.50 per hour depending on shift
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Forklift Operator Highlights
• The required availability for this position is 2nd Shift (2:45PM - 11:15PM)
Forklift Operator Responsibilities
- Load and off-load inbound and outbound shipments utilizing the WMS
- Report discrepancies between the inventory count and shipping/receiving documents
- Ensure every effort is made to load/off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and impedes damage
- Locates and retrieves products as well as replenishes picking locations
- Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions
- Assist as required
- Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.
Forklift Operator Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience operating various types of MHE (Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counterbalance, Slip and Clamp, Dock Stocker) preferred
• Ability to read distribution documents and operate MHE
• Proficient in basic PC use
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, stooping, twisting, and reaching
Forklift Operator Preferences
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
