TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Forklift Operator in the East Houston, TX area (77013)!
WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Person; Outside
PAY RATE: $15.00 per hour
SCHEDULE:
Mon-Fri: 6:30 am 4:30 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate a sit-down forklift (up to 10,000 lbs / 5-ton capacity)
- Move, stack, and transport lumber and building materials safely
- Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring proper placement and load security
- Assist with inventory management and material organization
- Complete required documentation (inventory logs, shipping/receiving records, safety checklists)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift, preferably with a 5-ton capacity or larger.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 5 tons) on a regular basis
- Prior experience in a lumber yard or construction materials setting is a plus.
