Forklift Operator 3rd Shift

Deliver raw materials and parts throughout the assigned department using a forklift. Perform battery maintenance, forklift preventive maintenance, inventory management and inventory control tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Proficient with tools, programs and equipment needed to perform job duties.
• 1 – 2 years of Forklift experience

Job Duties:

• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming conveyors and deliver to assigned locations.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Inspect forklift to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
• Change truck Battery when needed and preform battery maintenance.
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Managing inventory using warehouse management systems.
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.

• Lifting: continuously lifting objects weighing 5lb – 20lb, frequently lifting objects 20lb – 40lb, and occasionally or seldom lifting objects 40lb – 75lb.
