Forklift/Material Handler – 1st & 3rd Shift – Hendersonville
Compensation: Up to $21.00/hr.
Shift/Working Hours:

• 1st Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
• 3rd Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am

About the Role:
PrideStaff is partnering with a prominent manufacturing company in Hendersonville to recruit dedicated Forklift/Material Handlers for both 1st and 3rd shifts. This role is essential to the production process, focusing on the accurate and timely movement of all ingredients and concentrate, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
What You Will Do:

• Safely operate a forklift, including utilizing a tow trailer, to stage and move ingredients throughout the Warehouse, cooler, and freezer areas.
• Proactively review production schedules to determine material requirements, prioritize pulls (freezer, cooler, dry), and organize staging lanes for efficient workflow.
• Accurately track all material movement using RF scanners and inventory reporting systems, adhering to FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) methods where applicable.
• Manage the return of unused materials from the previous day's production, using QAD to confirm correct storage locations and maintain inventory integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in staging areas, coolers, and freezers by operating sweepers, scrubbers, and performing occasional manual cleaning.
• Actively uphold all SQF (Safe Quality Food) requirements for the position and report any actual or potential food safety issues to management.

• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable forklift operating experience and a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated proficiency with RF scanners and computer systems for tracking inventory (experience with QAD is a plus).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when managing ingredient quality and movement (e.g., following FEFO).
• A proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet production demands.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards, with a preference for candidates who have experience in the food/beverage or another regulated manufacturing environment.
