POSITION SUMMARY

As the leader of the front-of-house team, you'll create memorable experiences for our guests. The front-of-house staff is friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and works in a professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction. Managing the daily business operations of the Restaurant, Bar, Pool and Events by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Employee management including hiring, training, and terminations
  • Positive style customer service and engagement
  • Purchasing and inventory management
  • Clean, safe, and consistent food preparation
  • Staff scheduling within labor budgets
  • Financial performance of the department
  • Food, beverage and labor cost analysis
  • Manage monthly sales product breakdown
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership on menu design, pricing strategy and seasonal offerings
  • Oversee cocktail program development and wine/beer selections
  • Establishes restaurant business plans by surveying restaurant demand
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge base on current trends
  • Develop and manage ongoing safety and sanitation protocols
  • Daily, weekly reporting; monthly P&L reconciliation
  • Fully participate in company initiatives
  • POS system management
  • Participate in local marketing
  • Other various operational responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Directly supervises all FOH F&B teammates both hourly and salary. Carries out supervisory responsibilities following the company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include hiring, firing, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent (college degree)
  • 4+ years of customer service experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Restaurant experience a plus (fine dining)
  • 5+ years of supervisory/management experience
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
