Location: Coralville, IA

We are looking for an FOH Shift Manager who is experienced, professional, and passionate about guest service. This role is perfect for someone ready to take their restaurant career to the next level in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

We are seeking candidates with upscale casual, full-service dining experience. Fast-casual or quick-service (QSR) experience alone does not meet the requirements for this role.

Pay: Starting at $22 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:
This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as required. You will typically work 3 to 4 FOH management shifts per week, along with serving or bartending shifts as needed to support the team.

Full-time staff BENEFITS: Available for all full-time employees who work 40 hours per week or more on average.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support front-of-house staff during shifts, including hosting pre-shift rallies
  • Ensure FAST & FRIENDLY service by monitoring staff performance and guiding team members
  • Work alongside your team in any FOH role as needed, including hosting, bartending, serving, or expo support
  • Provide tools, checklists, and coaching to help staff succeed and maintain high standards
  • Engage with guests, address concerns with empathy, and create raving fans
  • Monitor restaurant equipment and facility needs, reporting issues to AGM and GM
  • Uphold the 15 Rules of Hospitality, coaching, encouraging, and enforcing them consistently
  • Own your shifts by maintaining a clean, organized, and positive environment while prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Communicate clearly with all team members, AGM, and GM through face-to-face interactions, meetings, or digital tools

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant restaurant experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • ServSafe certification required or must be able to pass training
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift and carry trays or other items up to 40 pounds
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Professional appearance and a positive, energetic attitude
  • Ability to work past scheduled hours in cases of call-ins or unexpected business spikes
