Fleet Reporting Analyst - Telematics

I. Job Summary
Under general supervision, provides data, reporting, data analysis, and recommendations on heavy equipment utilization, efficiency, usage, and maintenance for the entire market area.
Location: Lodi, CA or Sacramento, CA
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and monitor telematics reporting for all heavy equipment in the market area.
- Track heavy equipment usage, including utilization, idle time, and fuel usage, and distribute regular weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Provide recommendations on asset utilization to improve efficiency and costs.
- Assist with PM compliance monitoring and work with sites to meet compliance targets
- Manage SOS (oil sampling) program to ensure proper evaluation of data and follow up with work orders, if necessary
- Assist with heavy equipment purchase orders and parts supply across the Area
- Manage scheduled training for heavy equipment technicians, to keep current on all updated licenses that are needed for various types of equipment
- Conduct research on machine codes for the health of the machines
- Communicate safety concerns on codes and help train managers and ops specialists on what to look for on DEI’s
- Communicate all telematic updates cross-functionally and to the product suppliers via corporate staff
- Lead efforts in migrating to electronic inspections for operators and technicians.
- Work closely with Area Heavy Equipment Manager to improve overall HE program
- Provide data and recommendations to champion attaining sustainability goals and targets.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on telematics data, equipment utilization, and maintenance.
- Prepares reports on data summaries, changes, and trends for use by management. Provides assessment and recommendations to management.
- Assists with special projects within assigned department or as part of cross-functional teams as required or assigned.
- Recommends changes, updates and processes for continuous improvement in areas of expertise.
- Evaluates current training methods and materials for assigned group, and recommend improvements. Reviews and creates training as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
III. Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree,
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
- No prior work experience required (in addition to education requirement).

The expected base pay range for this office/on-site position is $75,000 - $85,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
