Surface Transportation org is expanding and introducing new capabilities to our Maintenance business that supports all Middle Mile assets (tractors, trailers, box trucks, hostlers). In this role you will deliver world class solutions while wearing many hats and working in a highly collaborative environment that is more startup than big company. This role will require strong analytical skills to deep dive problems and influence teams across Amazon to drive the development of our maintenance business. Key job responsibilities - Create and automate reporting to drive informed business decisions - Work with external vendors to root cause and solve identified problems - Drive compliance of existing processes through partnering with internal and external stakeholders - Other administrative ad-hoc needs as necessary A day in the life Your day will be a blend of strategic collaboration and hands-on problem-solving. You'll dive deep into vendor relationships, analyze performance data, and develop creative solutions that streamline maintenance operations for our critical transportation assets. Basic Qualifications - 2+ years of professional or military experience - 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience - High school or equivalent - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required - Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - Are 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications - Experience with end-to-end project management Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
