Job Details
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 12am -8am
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair fleet vehicles for mechanical and safety issues
- Perform preventative maintenance on tractors, trailers, straight trucks, and box trucks
- Maintain fleet to meet and exceed DOT compliance standards
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Complete repair documentation and maintain accurate fleet logs
- Work within a team environment to ensure fleet uptime and reliability
- Follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements
- Maintain personal tools and utilize company-provided allowances
Qualifications (Needed)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Class A Mechanic Certification (preferred, not required)
- CDL Class A or B (preferred)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in heavy-duty fleet or diesel maintenance
- Experience or strong background in truck/trailer repair, preventative maintenance, and DOT compliance
- Strong background in mechanical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting)
- Must pass DOT drug screening and physical
