Job Description: Fixed Asset Consultant – S/4HANA
 

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Fixed Asset Consultant with strong functional expertise in SAP Fixed Asset Accounting (FIAA) within S/4HANA. The consultant will support capital and funded projects, including integration with Project Systems (PS) and Funds Management (FM), and will participate in workshops, design, testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization activities. The role requires collaboration with Finance, Project Controls, Budget, and IT stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant asset accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strong functional experience in SAP Fixed Asset Accounting (FIAA) within S/4HANA, including understanding of the integrated Universal Journal (ACDOCA).

  2. Experience with Assets Under Construction (AUC) processes, including capitalization, settlement, and asset lifecycle management.

  3. Handson experience with integration between Asset Accounting and Project Systems (PS) for capital projects and WBSbased cost collection.

  4. Experience with Funds Management (FM) integration, including budget control and funded capital expenditures, and PS–FM–FI integrated design for capital and funded projects.

Additional Responsibilities (Nice to Have):

  • Ability to support fittostandard workshops, functional design, and assetrelated impact analysis.

  • Experience supporting testing (SIT/UAT), data validation, cutover, and postgolive stabilization for Asset Accounting workstreams.

  • ECC to S/4HANA migration experience, including asset master, AUC, and depreciation area redesign.

  • Public Sector experience, with exposure to capital programs, compliance, and audit requirements.

  • Experience with Fiori apps, embedded analytics, and asset reporting.

  • Strong collaboration skills with Finance, Project Controls, Budget, and IT stakeholders.
