Principal Responsibilities:
In this position you must be able to align and fit together fabricated plates, structural shapes and weldments preparatory
to assembly - structural fabricated products and must be able to weld different metals to blue print.
Duties:
Individual must maintain their certification stamps
Must be able to weld all materials to X-Ray specifications
Must possess the ability to work to close tolerances
Must be able to work to standards within operations and have the ability to make shop aids to increase production standard,
if needed
Must be able to build ducts without supervisor’s assistance
Must be capable of training other employees
Must be responsible for quality of workmanship
Must be able and willing to perform all duties of lesser classifications in both the welding and fitting disciplines
Prepare and fit both compound and complex duct assemblies
Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
Performs other routine duties
Must be certified in accordance with 10QP040
Record SPC data in accordance with 10QP063
And other duties as assigned
