Here's a summary of responsibilities:
The Financial Systems Analyst works directly with the Manager, Financial Systems, to support the financial management systems and financial operations of the organization. Responsibilities include maintaining financial systems, managing process improvements, developing and maintaining financial reporting, and providing application support while adhering to organizational policies.
Here’s how you’ll have an impact:
Financial Applications Support
  1. Maintain, administer, and provide general application support of the financial, budgeting forecasting, travel, and expense systems, including assistance with procedures, processes, and policy compliance.  Work with vendors to troubleshoot system issues.
  2. Collaborate with the Manager, Financial Systems to review system updates and test system functionality and reporting.
  3. Perform setup and maintenance of financial systems including; user permissions, security profiles, general ledger accounts, and financial organization structure.  Responsible for maintaining consistency and standards across multiple financial systems.
  4. Provide Intacct training for new Finance team members. Create resource guides and manuals for users. 
  5. Collaborate with other Finance team members to maintain and update the Finance SharePoint resources.
Data Reporting and Analysis
  1. Perform data imports and exports to/from financial systems while maintaining data integrity in multiple applications and adhering to organizational policies.  
  2. Develop and distribute standard and ad hoc reports from multiple financial systems, including month and year-end financial reports. Maintain a catalog of central reports for use within Finance.  
  3. Develop custom reports and dashboards to support organizational and departmental business decisions. 
  4. Work closely with FP&A team to manage and maintain the budgeting and forecasting system by ensuring the versions and reports are created and available for users for a given timeline.  
  5. Import and export data as necessary to keep the budgets and forecasting system in sync with the financial ERP system.
Process Improvement & System Implementation
  1. Work closely with the Manager, Financial Systems to plan, identify, configure and implement new solutions and/or policies and process improvements as it relates to financial operations. 
  2. Review and analyze upcoming product releases of financial systems and provide recommendations for implementing new solutions. 
  3. Analyze current processes and system needs and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and meet customer needs.
  4. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Information Systems or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience using financial systems including reporting, system administration, and data analysis
  • General experience with accounting principles 
  • Prefer experience using Sage Intacct, Workday Adaptive Planning, and Concur
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities for the preparation of spreadsheets for analysis and presentation
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service focus
  • Understanding of database relationships 
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, policies and processes (GAAP)
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment

Here's some more information you need to know:
  • Hiring pay range $60,000 - $65,000 per year
  • This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
  • Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 10% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
