The company is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting to play a key role in elevating the quality, accuracy, and scalability of its external reporting function. This is a hands on leadership position that blends SEC reporting ownership with deep technical accounting exposure, offering meaningful interaction with executive leadership and cross functional teams.
You will take ownership of complex accounting research, including interpretation and application of Accounting Standards Codification guidance, while helping shape the company’s approach to evolving reporting requirements.
Key areas of focus:
External reporting and SEC compliance
Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual filings, including 10Q and 10K. Ensure all disclosures meet current regulatory expectations and reflect best practices in financial transparency.
Technical accounting and policy development
Serve as the internal subject matter expert on complex accounting topics such as revenue recognition under ASC 606, inventory considerations, and newly issued standards. Draft clear and defensible technical position memos and guide leadership through accounting implications.
Financial reporting infrastructure
Oversee the end to end production of financial statements, including footnotes and supporting schedules. Drive improvements in reporting processes, with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
Close process and internal controls
Partner with accounting leadership to enhance the monthly and quarterly close cycle. Strengthen internal controls and ensure consistency in policy application across the organization.
Audit and external advisor engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors. Manage requests, coordinate deliverables, and proactively address technical questions and audit findings.
Systems and tools environment
The company operates on NetSuite and leverages Toppan Merrill’s SEC reporting platform to streamline disclosure management and filing processes. Experience with these tools will allow you to make an immediate impact.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
CPA strongly preferred.
3+ years of experience in large public accounting firms supporting SEC-registered clients, with hands-on involvement in financial reporting engagements.
GAAP, SEC reporting, Inventory accounting experience
