We are currently seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and passionate Financial Controller to join our dynamic, Global client in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures. This role requires a high level of strategic thinking, leadership, and advanced financial expertise.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all company accounts and investments
  • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
  • Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the Board's Audit Committee and the external auditors as necessary
  • Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions
  • Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash
  • Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting
  • Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy
  • Oversee the bookkeeping function including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure and stored in compliance with current legislation
  • Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate
  • Assist the CFO in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Professional certification (such as CMA, CGA, or CPA)
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a senior financial managerial position
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in the use of accounting software and financial management systems
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Six Sigma, Job Costing, NPV Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting
  • Strong leadership qualities and organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Ability to work closely with a senior management team.
