About the Opportunity
A respected manufacturing organization in the region is seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial operations, strengthen reporting processes, and drive continuous improvement across the business. The Financial Controller will serve as a key leader within the organization, partnering closely with leadership, operations, and executive teams to ensure financial clarity and operational alignment. The Financial Controller will oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance within a complex manufacturing environment. Direct experience in manufacturing and strong ERP expertise are non‑negotiables, as the Financial Controller will be expected to leverage systems to improve accuracy, streamline processes, and enhance financial visibility. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can build relationships, mentor team members, and elevate the performance of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the accounting and finance team, fostering an environment of accountability, collaboration, and growth.
- Oversee the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, month‑end close, and regulatory reporting.
- Utilize advanced ERP system knowledge to strengthen financial controls, improve reporting, and optimize processes.
- Analyze manufacturing variances, inventory performance, and production cost drivers.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Partner closely with operations and plant leadership to provide actionable insights.
- Enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures to support a scalable manufacturing environment.
- Serve as a proactive and visible Financial Controller who contributes to both daily operations and long‑term strategy.
Qualifications
- CPA preferred, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader
- Manufacturing experience required
- Strong ERP expertise required (multi‑site or large‑scale system experience a plus)
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience developing and guiding teams
- Advanced analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to influence decision‑making across cross‑functional teams

Location: 100% on-site to those who reside within a reasonable commute range to company headquarters
Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000
