Financial Analyst Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies within the general ledger
- Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts, supporting month-end and year-end close processes with detailed variance explanations
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items, working cross-functionally to clear outstanding balances
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within reconciliation and close cycles to increase efficiency and reduce risk
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; advanced degree, CPA, or CMA preferred
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience
- Experience with Sage 100 accounting software is a plus
