Job Description:
Hybrid | 3 days onsite (Tuesday–Thursday)
Our client, a large automotive company, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Process Validation & Improvement (PVI) Audit team. This team plays a critical role in identifying supplier overpayment risks, performing root cause analysis, and driving end-to-end process improvements across global purchasing contracts.
This role requires close collaboration with Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and Technical Accounting teams to identify contract pricing discrepancies, recover overpayments, and ensure future pricing accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supplier contracts and pricing data to identify errors, risks, and recovery opportunities
- Deliver clear, high-quality audit findings and communicate contract issues to purchasing stakeholders
- Partner with cross-functional teams to review audit results and align on recovery strategies
- Support supplier negotiations related to pricing discrepancies and overpayments
- Drive timely closure of open audits and recovery activities
- Track and meet key performance metrics, including audit cycle time, contract coverage, and cost recoveries
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and special studies as requested by leadership
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen purchasing and financial controls
