Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Saint Paul, MN
Type: Contract
Compensation: $51.70/hr
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid


Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analysis to support a portfolio of projects within a technology services environment
  • Act as a liaison between project teams, capital asset accounting, business finance, and corporate accounting
  • Support accrual-based accounting processes, including month-end close activities
  • Pull and analyze actuals, track financial performance, and support “as-built” financial reporting
  • Partner with project managers to monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial status of projects
  • Collaborate with software and hardware teams to ensure alignment between financials and project execution
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures within a regulated industry
  • Support ongoing financial reporting, reconciliation, and documentation processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related field
  • Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting and month-end close processes
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Experience with SAP and SharePoint
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
