LaneStaffing is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst I to support departmental accounting and financial operations in Houston, TX (77054).

This role is ideal for a professional with strong analytical skills, financial reporting experience, and the ability to support policy and procedural development.

Position Summary

The Financial Analyst I assists department accounting staff in meeting financial and accounting goals. The role supports financial reporting, analysis, and policy development in accordance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and reports

• Assist in developing financial policies and procedures

• Review and evaluate selected financial reports

• Compile financial data and prepare work papers, schedules, graphs, and charts

• Support departmental accounting functions

• Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in:

• Finance

• Accounting

• Business Administration

• Or closely related field

Substitutions:

• Four (4) years of pertinent professional or para-professional experience may substitute for education
  OR

• Associate's degree + two (2) years of pertinent professional or para-professional experience

Experience:

• One (1) year of professional experience in:

• Finance

• Budget analysis

• Economics

• Or closely related field

Additional Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License

• Strong analytical and reporting skills

• Proficiency in financial data analysis
