The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing costs, production variances, and COGS to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts, performing variance analysis against actual results.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational and executive leadership.
- Conduct profitability analysis for products, production lines, and customer segments.
- Create financial models to evaluate capital expenditure projects, new product launches, and strategic investments.
- Support inventory valuation, reconcile inventory accounts, and analyze inventory turns and obsolescence.
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve financial processes and drive efficiency.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Experience with cost accounting principles and practices in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with large datasets
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for data extraction and analysis
- Ability to interpret operational data and provide actionable financial insights
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS) for cost accounting and production analysis
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their financial implications
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to report on operational KPIs and variances
- Understanding of supply chain finance concepts and inventory management best practices
