Overview of the Financial Analyst / Cost Analyst role

  • Utilize SAP to support financial reporting, data entry, and routine financial transactions across purchasing, inventory, and finance functions.

  • Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models and reports, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools.

  • Support annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes, tracking actual results against plan and identifying variances.

  • Perform cost analysis and controlling activities, including reviewing product costs, overhead allocations, and margin performance.

  • Partner with operations and leadership to provide clear financial insights that support business decisions.

  • Communicate financial results and analysis to stakeholders in a clear and targeted manner.


Preferred Qualifications for the Financial Analyst / Cost Analyst role

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial analysis tools.

  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Background in cost accounting, cost analysis, or controlling functions.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to act as a financial business partner to operations and leadership.

$76,000 – $83,000 annually
