Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs, including direct labor, materials, and overhead, identifying variances and cost drivers.
• Develop and manage financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning specific to production operations.
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests for new machinery or plant expansions, performing ROI and payback period analysis.
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels, turnover, and obsolescence, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
• Prepare detailed financial reports on production performance, product line profitability, and operational efficiency for management.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, cost reduction projects, and operational decision-making.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
• Proven understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
• Experience in budgeting and long-range financial planning for production environments.
• Ability to analyze complex operational data and translate into financial insights.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing context.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and variance analysis in a production environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing operations, supply chain, and inventory management processes.
