Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

Analyze actual operating results and interpret data and presents results to management

Respond to budget related requests for financial data

Responsible for reconciling promotional claims and POS activity

Research payment reconciliation issues that arise from audits, exception reports or remittance changes

Generate required reporting to validate payments and resolve discrepancies and variances

Reconcile carrier commissions against in-store reporting to ensure timely and accurate payment

Responsible for finance/reporting, financial data analytics

Deliver reporting and analytics to a variety of key business stakeholders, utilizing appropriate data to effectively create actionable spending plans

Background & Competencies Required:

Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of directly related experience is required

Prior experience in retail operations preferred

Must have accounting experience utilizing SAP R/3 software

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of PC software applications experience with solid Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one s time.
• Basic ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
• Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.
• Basic knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
• 2-4 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
