Our client in the North Dallas area is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their Accounting Department!

The Financial Accountant will have experience in the following.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Prepare financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reporting, for close-outs
  • Maintain and reconcile the GL to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
  • Perform close-out activities including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account reconciliations
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to audit inquiries
  • Track oil and gas assets, analyze operating results, and collaborate with operations and partners on reporting and distributions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Oil and gas accounting experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
