Our client is seeking a Finance Systems Business Leadto serve as the JD Edwards (JDE) ERP expert for our Finance team. This Finance Systems Business Lead role is responsible for supporting system implementations, upgrades, testing, and ongoing daily support, ensuring the finance organization operates efficiently and effectively. Acting as a vital link between Finance and IT, this Finance Systems Business Lead role reports to the North America Controller and collaborates closely with regional finance and accounting teams. It requires a proactive, service-oriented mindset, self-motivation, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve finance-related system and technical challenges.

Responsibilities of the Finance Systems Business Lead:

  • Lead and support JDE financial system implementations, enhancements, and daily operations.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and global stakeholders to translate business requirements into system solutions.
  • Develop and execute testing plans, coordinate UAT, and resolve system issues.
  • Identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements.
  • Maintain documentation, reports, training materials, and end-user support.
  • Collaborate globally across departments and with external vendors.

Qualifications for the Finance Systems Business Lead:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Information Systems; Master's degree or CPA a plus
  • 2+ years’ practical experience with JDE ERP (9.1, 9.2, or XE)
  • 3+ years working in or with Finance/Accounting (AP/AR, finance processes)
