Finance Manager Manufacturing | Humble, TX
A growing manufacturing operation is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial strategy and oversee day-to-day finance operations for a new plant in Humble, Texas. This role will partner closely with leadership to drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and support long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial strategy, policies, and processes aligned with business objectives
Oversee daily financial operations including AP, AR, inventory control, and manufacturing cost analysis
Prepare monthly and annual financial reports (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Manage cash flow, working capital, and forecasting
Ensure accurate accounting records, compliance, and coordination with auditors
Lead financing initiatives and maintain relationships with financial institutions
Oversee tax planning and filings and identify opportunities for tax optimization
Pursue subsidies, loans, tax credits, and government incentives related to manufacturing projects
Develop the finance team and strengthen internal controls and financial processes
Partner with leadership to provide financial insights that support operational growth
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Experience as a Finance Manager or Controller in a manufacturing environment
Strong expertise in financial planning, cost accounting, tax strategy, and capital management
Experience with financing, fundraising, or investor relations is a plus
Knowledge of manufacturing incentives and tax credit programs preferred
Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and tax regulations
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Bilingual English/Mandarin preferred but not required.
