Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with a growing industrial firm seeking an Operations Finance Manager.  As the Operations Finance Manager, you will be responsible for driving financial performance across US operations, including multiple production facilities.  You will act as a strategic partner to leadership and sales teams, translating complex operational data into actionable insights that drive profitability, cost discipline, and smarter decision-making. Responsibilities:
  • You will monitor manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and production variances to identify opportunities for reducing cost-to-serve.
  • Partner within the organization to perform deep-dive gross margin analysis by product and customer. You’ll support value-based pricing decisions and provide financial input for major contract negotiations.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for US operations. Develop sophisticated financial models and performance dashboards to guide executive strategy.
  • Act as the "bridge" between finance, supply chain, and sales. You will support capital expenditure evaluations and ROI analysis for critical operational investments.
  • Support month-end close and drive continuous improvements in ERP utilization (Microsoft Dynamics) and data integrity.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • Minimum of 6–10+ years in FP&A, operational finance, or plant controlling. Experience in manufacturing or capital-intensive industrial environments is strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of cost accounting, margin analysis, and profitability drivers.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and strong financial modeling capabilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics / Navision is a plus.
