Job Summary:
The Finance Analyst partners with Sales, Marketing Development, Planning, and Customer Commercial Finance teams to drive profitable growth. This role reviews and actualizes line review and promotion P&Ls, supports FP&A forecasts, and provides insights into pricing, mix, and category performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and actualize line review and promotion P&Ls; advise Sr. Manager on approvals.
Compare planned customer ITN rates versus checkbook with Customer Commercial Finance leads.
Provide detail for Sales, Trade Funding, Mix, Customer A&P, Trade A/R, and customer accrual forecasts.
Deliver promotion reporting to Brand Finance/MD&P using NTN system.
Analyze price/mix drivers to identify category growth opportunities.
Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
Take ownership of assigned issues, identifying root causes and driving solutions.
Generate ad-hoc reports and timely insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
1–3 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in CPG.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience with SAP and Oracle/Hyperion planning systems preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.
