Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, related functions, or an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking or similar environments.
- Knowledge of SAP, SQL and statistical tools/systems.
- Ability to cultivate strong cross-functional relationships, work in a changing and growing environment, and drive operational initiatives
- Ability to manage processes that require attention to detail and detail oriented.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate effectively with executive management.
- Excellent communication skills with influencing and partnering with both finance and non-finance business stakeholders and budget owners.

As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support. Android auto is an Android platform designed to work in automobiles. Google TV powers smart TVs and streaming dongles.Android XR is an emerging product focused on virtual, mixed and augmented reality devices. In this role, you will be a part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team for Android Ecosystems Emerging Platforms Finance, working across all three product groups. You will be focused on management including supporting regular financial processes, agreement modeling and analysis and building financial models to support decisions.The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage Artificial Intelligence (AI)-motivated/automated core financial processes, including forecasting, month-end close, reporting, annual planning and in-depth variance analysis for the business.
- Act as a key point of contact, providing AI-enabled support to product leadership on day-to-day spend approvals, cost tracking, and annual budget planning workstreams.
- Help define financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics that drive the business. Track key performance metrics and KPIs. Prepare insightful analysis that includes data-motivated recommendations to guide decisions and participate in business-facing projects
- Develop financial models to support partnership agreements across product distribution and content partnerships and business agreements.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships and collaborate with product, Business Development (BD), central Finance, controllership and other functions across the organization.
