Advanced Concrete, Inc. is a growing, team-oriented ready-mix concrete company committed to safety, quality, customer commitment, dedication, and teamwork. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Supervisor to join our leadership team at our Waunakee location.

Position Summary
The Finance & Accounting Supervisor will oversee and actively participate in daily accounting operations. This role is responsible for all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, managing general ledger activities, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision
Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
Provide support, guidance, and feedback to accounting staff
Assist with workflow prioritization and coverage planning
Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative environment
Accounting & Financial Operations
Oversee and perform daily AP/AR functions, including invoice entry, payment processing, collections, and reconciliations
Review and approve invoices, payment runs, and account reconciliations
Maintain general ledger structure, including GL codes and mappings
Prepare and review journal entries
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist with annual budget development
Monitor actual results vs. budget and investigate variances
Prepare financial reports and management summaries
Support leadership with financial analysis and decision-making tools
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and internal controls
Develop and document standard operating procedures
Ensure accurate recordkeeping and organized documentation
Qualifications
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
2+ years of accounting experience required
Strong AP/AR and general ledger experience required
Supervisory or lead experience preferred
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
