STS Technical Services is hiring Field Service Technicians / Welders in Temple, Texas. In this role, you’ll perform hands-on work operating, troubleshooting, and repairing combat vehicles, including modification work on Bradley Fighting Vehicles and related platforms.
Job Overview
This position is ideal for experienced technicians who take pride in precision work and want to be part of a team that keeps mission-critical military equipment operating at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and complete Modification Work Orders (MWOs) as directed
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain vehicle systems and components
- Work closely with other technicians to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment and represent the team professionally
What You’ll Bring
- Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while following technical direction
- Physically capable of performing essential duties, including lifting up to 30 lbs and working at heights or in confined spaces
- Experience using hand, pneumatic, and power tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Bradley Fighting Vehicles or similar military vehicles
- Aluminum GMAW welding experience
- Forklift and overhead crane operation experience
- Welding certifications
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Technical or welding certifications
