Field Service Technician | Southern CA

The Field Service Technician will perform repairs and maintenance of Hamilton Medical ventilation products in a field service capacity in support of the Southern California territory. The ideal candidate will reside near or in Los Angeles, CA, or San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- New equipment installation.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair Hamilton equipment.
- Report problems and perform root cause analysis on instrument failures.
- Sales are a vital part of this position.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to interface and communicate well with customers.
- Ability to train non-technical personnel on highly technical material.
- Ability and willingness to work in a safety conscious manner.
- Associate degree required in Electronics, Biomedical Electronics Technology, or certificate from accredited electronics school or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Previous hospital, bio-medical, or field service experience and basic understanding of ventilation is preferred.
- Basic understanding of ventilation is strongly preferred.
- Position requires exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
