As the Field Service Technician, you will provide field service support and maintenance, achieving a high level of customer satisfaction including building customer relations and conducting installations and system maintenance of sites, both individually and as a team. Under minimal supervision, we will ask you to show initiative in a team environment to successfully perform the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting in escalated situations, identifying and resolving technical issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Accurately diagnose, repair, and maintain Advanced Pharmacy products and accessories, adhering to company standard and quality guidelines.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance on Passport and associated equipment, following established protocols.
- Provide back-up support for all regional personnel for time-off and vacations, ensuring continuous support and service.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and assembly teams to contribute to product improvement and enhancements.
- Perform installation at customer sites, including conducting pre-installation surveys and ensuring proper configuration and set up.
- Support installations in assigned region as well as other regions as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and management to address and resolve escalated problems and technical challenges.
- Develop expertise in the configuration and operation of the Passport System, staying updated with product knowledge and advancements.
- Effectively schedule calls to meet Advanced Pharmacy requirements across assigned regions.
- Educate the customers on basic operation of their machines, providing clear instruction and guidance.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and communicate effectively with customers, team members, and managers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, practices, and procedures by all field service personnel.
- Actively participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Provide technical and maintenance support to the pharmacy.
- Document all service activity in service ticket system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Adhere to all Field Service Policies and Procedures.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Education
- High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
Professional Requirements:
2+ years related experience and/or training; prior Field Service technical experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; prior Field Service technical experience preferred.
- Strong electro-mechanical skills, with a solid understanding of equipment functionality and repair processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional service experiences.
- Previous experience with medical equipment or automation is a plus.
- Experience in using basic hand tools.
- Ability to follow directions and instructions both in person and over the phone.
- Ability to work non-traditional work schedule, which may include extended hours including evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call duties
- Ability to work effectively in both team environments and independently.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
