We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Field Operations Manager - Roofing to join our company in the construction industry. This role is critical to our success and requires a self-driven individual who is passionate about leading field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and execution in both residential and commercial roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing subcontractors, leading teams, and maintaining accountability. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of subcontractors, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to plan, coordinate, and supervise activities related to roofing projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality of work.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving field operations, including identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Handle any issues or delays that arise in the course of a project, implementing solutions quickly and effectively.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the commercial roofing sector, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex issues and make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to drive improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.
- Must be willing to travel to various job sites as required.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
