Field Merchandising Manager
itD is seeking a Field Merchandising Manager to lead in-store merchandising strategy, execution, and reporting for Reality Labs Wearables across key North American retail partners. This role drives the successful planning, launch, and maintenance of physical retail fixtures and product demos, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience across thousands of store locations. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in retail merchandising operations, third-party labor management, and cross-functional program execution, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale retail rollouts on time and within budget.
Location: Remote – United States (occasional travel for store visits and team offsites)

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end merchandising execution across thousands of retail locations, ensuring fixtures, demo units, graphics, and display technologies meet brand standards.
- Prioritize and manage high-volume, complex projects with tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and operational excellence.
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, sales, operations, analytics, and external retail partners to align execution plans and drive measurable impact.
- Act as liaison between third-party labor agencies, fixture vendors, retail partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Develop detailed execution plans and workback schedules for new product launches, fixture installations, and program updates.
- Track field performance, analyze demo compliance data, flag risks, and deliver comprehensive reporting to internal stakeholders.
- Manage vendor invoices and monitor project budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility and adherence to allocated spend.
Internal Responsibilities
- Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
- Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
- Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
- Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
- Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
- Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years of experience in retail in-store merchandising (brand or vendor side).
- 3+ years of project management experience.
- 3+ years of third-party labor/vendor management experience.
- Direct or indirect experience working with Essilor Luxottica retail partners (e.g., Sunglass Hut, Ray-Ban, LensCrafters).
- Proven experience managing complex retail fixture installations and large-scale store rollouts.
- Experience communicating program updates across broad cross-functional teams.
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience planning large-scale retail executions from concept through production and installation.
- Background supporting specialty retail or mobile carrier retail environments.
- Experience managing budgets and maintaining fiscal accountability.
- Experience supporting in-store technology demos or tech-enabled retail environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Retail Management, Communications, Operations Management, or related field.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
