Field Foreman - Building Products - Base Salary to 80k/year - Hartford, CT
- Established in 1997, our client is a trailblazing specialty building products manufacturer, renowned for crafting smart, architecturally significant systems tailored for multifamily and hospitality projects. They excel in simplifying the purchasing and installation experience for dealers, contractors, and property owners
- They are currently looking for a Field Foreman to join their team. This role spans job sites across Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. With a blend of technical knowledge, effective communication, and organizational finesse, The Field Foreman will be responsible for customer communication, assessing site readiness, performing field measurements, managing material receipt, and coordinating seamless project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Adheres to all company policies, covering safety, travel, customer and vendor relationships, and company vehicles.
- Travels to job sites, collecting technical data with overnight stays as needed.
- Inspects and monitors active worksites, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Serves as a customer liaison, ensuring positive communication and experiences.
- Coordinates sub-tier work, directs installation scheduling, and attends job site meetings.
- Manages material reception, communicates equipment needs, and performs quality inspections.
- Works safely, aligning with company values, and takes on additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of construction experience.
- Essential ability to read and comprehend construction documents, blueprints, and work orders.
- Proficient in measuring devices, basic math, and familiarity with project management systems.
- Professional communication skills with customers, tradespeople, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Travel required, approximately 15% with overnight stays.
- Physical requirements: lift 50 pounds occasionally, work at heights exceeding 20 feet regularly, and perform full range of motion activities.
- Vision for both close and long distances is necessary.
Compensation:
- Base salary to 80k/year
- Car Allowance plus mileage
