Communications customers.Job Description Note: This position is remote
and candidates can reside anywhere in the US. Preferred candidates will
reside in the Eastern or Central time zone. Overview: The Field
Engineering team plays a crucial role in enhancing public safety by
deploying Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Mobile Applications, and
Records Management Systems (RMS). They handle all on-premise hardware
and equipment installations for government and municipal projects,
following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent
quality and promote efficient standardization and reuse. Your
responsibilities will include: * Managing and executing customer
installation activities within agreed upon project timeframes. *
Verifying the complete functionality and readiness of systems for
software deployment. * Conducting routine system tasks like software
updates, system upgrades, data backup/restoration, and troubleshooting.
* Gaining a deep understanding of public safety customer environments
to ensure optimal product security and reliability. * Demonstrating
proficient software and IP networking skills, coupled with excellent
problem-solving abilities. * Deliver solutions that align with existing
products, standard interfaces, and pre-defined procedures. * Diagnose
and resolve issues across systems, networks, and infrastructure. *
