A financial services organization is seeking a FICO Business Systems Analyst to join its growing team. In this role, the Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for working on strategy, rules configuration, and software implementation for the auto lending business.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
- Locations: Lewisville, TX, Detroit, MI, Charlotte, NC, or Jacksonville, FL
Responsibilities:
- Understanding complex business challenges to build intelligent solutions
- Maintaining strong subject matter knowledge in business outcomes and platform capabilities
- Partnering with teams to deliver business-focused solutions
- Supporting efficient tactical delivery
- Configuring and documenting concepts across Agile delivery lifecycles
- Work with ambiguous and complex requirements and help refine them into distinct tactical goals
- Stay current with industry trends and apply learnings to drive platform innovations
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience with FICO Express (top priority)
- Experience with FICO Originations Manager (hands‑on configuration)
- FICO tools background
- Hands-on configuration-not just business analyst or ticket-routing experience
- Ability to configure rules within the system
- Python (helpful but NOT required if they have FICO Express experience)
- Experience in the Financial Services or related industry
- Experience in reading and/or querying SQL, Oracle, SMSS, etc.
- Skilled with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Project Management/Business Analyst certification
- MOSEL experience
- Groovy Scripting experience
- Experience with DMP migration
- Background in Auto-finance (Mortgage)
