REQUIRED – Vehicle & Equipment
You MUST have:
• Truck or cargo van capable of carrying:
• 28 ft fiberglass ladder (non-collapsible)
• 6 ft fiberglass ladder
• Basic hand tools
• Professional appearance
• Ability to work independently
• Strong troubleshooting skills
Meters available for rental if needed.
Background & Drug Screening Requirements
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• No felony convictions or disqualifying offenses
• Must pass a 5-panel drug screening
• Must meet client compliance requirements
Fiber Optic Installation & Service Technician – 1099 Contractor (Residential & Commercial)
We are hiring experienced Fiber Optic Installation & Troubleshooting Technicians for residential service work supporting Spectrum/Charter operations.
Location: Wilson, NC
This Is NOT a Construction Position
No drop bury work
No underground construction
No fiber splicing (we use quick connectors only)
No bucket truck work
Not hourly / Not W-2
This is a 1099 independent contractor role paid per completed job.
1099 Contractor Position
Weekly earnings: $800 – $1500 +
Paid per completed job
No earning cap
Paid training for qualified techs
Referral bonuses available
High performers earn more. Production matters.
