Job Details

We are seeking a highly experienced FELA Trial Attorney to lead complex Federal Employers Liability Act cases nationwide. This attorney will manage cases from investigation through trial and resolution while working alongside a national team of experienced litigators.

Responsibilities

  • Lead litigation of Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA) cases from investigation through trial and resolution
  • Manage all aspects of federal litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
  • Serve as first-chair or lead trial counsel in FELA matters
  • Develop case strategy and analyze complex liability and damages issues
  • Coordinate with clients, experts, and litigation teams across multiple jurisdictions
  • Evaluate claims, develop defense strategy, and negotiate settlements when appropriate
  • Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with litigation support teams

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of litigation experience with significant focus on FELA matters
  • Demonstrated experience trying FELA cases to verdict
  • Strong federal court litigation experience
  • Ability to independently manage complex, high-value cases
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and trial advocacy skills
  • Active bar license in good standing (multi-state admission preferred)
