This job order is for a temporary/seasonal position in: (Tologa, Ok.) Title: Farmworkers and Laborers, crop, nursery and greenhouse Dates of Contract: 02/01/2025 to 11/01/2025 Schedule: Monday Sunday 8:00am 6:00pm 60hrs per week Duties: Walk fields to pull weeds; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and postharvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as sprayer, swather, rake, baler, combine, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as wheat, hay; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Attend to live farm animals including cattle such as processing, calving, feeding, sorting, selling; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools. Hauling or moving equipment to farm or for repair. Must be able to speak Requirements: Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
