Responsibilities

While there many responsibilities in this role, a few key drivers for continued success are listed here:

Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.

Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.

Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.

Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.

Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.

Develop and maintain client relationships.

Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.

Present and explain insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.

Develop and implement new marketing and sales strategies.


Requirements

Sales, business development, and/or management experience required

Excellent communication skills

Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset

Ability to manage a marketing pipeline and sales funnel

Strong organizational and time management skills

Desire to be active in the community and help people navigate insurance needs

Desire to build a strong sales team and handle day-to-day operations

Ability to pass a criminal and financial background check

Current Missouri Property& Casualty and Life & Health Insurance licenses or ability to Obtain within 45 days.
