QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Bachelor's degree in education, social services, behavioral therapy of related fields

Minimum 2 years work experience with children and families

Bilingual is a plus

RBT training is also a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver in-home support services including early identification of needs, education, housing, and food assistance to enhance the well-being of children and families
  • Administer family assessments with fidelity
  • Assist families in completing family support plan goals and tasks that may include budgeting
  • Refer families to community resources for additional supports including therapeutic services including ABA, OT, PT services
  • Participate in field trips, respite sessions, workshops and other activities
  • Initiate and maintain detailed documentation

You will provide families enrolled in the Autism is Real Program with essential knowledge on the safety, health, and well-being of children age 3 through 8th grade with an Autism diagnosis, those with developmental delays, or those displaying autism indicators. You will administer assessments, assist with developmental screenings and offer educational, economic, and community resource and referral support to families caring for children with ASD. You will initiate and maintain detailed records and progress notes.
