Opportunity Overview

Join an established outpatient family medicine practice in Austin, Texas. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to work alongside one physician and one nurse practitioner, with a planned transition as the current physician moves toward retirement. Long-term model will be a collaborative Physician + NP practice.

This position is ideal for a physician seeking stability, strong compensation, and the opportunity to step into a practice with an existing patient base. 2026 residents are welcome to apply.

Clinical Details
  • Permanent, full-time position

  • Seeking Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician

  • Outpatient only - no inpatient responsibilities

  • Family Medicine - all ages

  • Established practice with one physician and one NP

  • Transition period with current physician before retirement

  • Practice-level volume: 40 patients per day

  • EMR: CureMD

  • W-2 employment preferred

  • Spanish-speaking preferred (not required)

Schedule
  • Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation - Year 1
  • Base salary: $250,000

  • Performance bonus: $15,000 - $25,000 (productivity & quality-based)

  • Signing bonus: $25,000

    • 50% at start

    • 50% at end of Year 1

    • 3-year repayment clause

  • Total cash compensation: $290,000 - $300,000

Benefits & Professional Support
  • Malpractice insurance (claims-made): $6,000 - $10,000

  • Health, dental, vision: $15,000 - $20,000 employer-paid (family plan)

  • Retirement plan: 3-5% employer match ($7,500 - $10,000)

  • CME & licensing allowance: $2,000 annually

  • Estimated total benefits value: $30,500 - $42,000

Relocation & Licensing
  • Relocation assistance:

    • Within Texas: up to $5,000

    • Out of state: up to $10,000

  • Licensing & credentialing fees covered (Texas license, DEA, background checks)
