Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant – Family Practice & Urgent Care
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Family Practice and Urgent Care. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, comprehensive care to diverse patient populations, including both adults and pediatric patients, in a fast-paced clinical environment. Your expertise will directly impact community health and wellbeing, supported by a collaborative team committed to excellence.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Proven experience treating adults and pediatrics (6 months+).
  • Ability to manage high patient volume effectively while maintaining a positive, patient-centered attitude.
  • Proficiency in Epic EMR system to ensure seamless documentation and patient care.
  • Full clinical independence, with the ability to see and treat all patients as the sole provider.
  • Strong soft skills for effective communication and teamwork with support staff and patients.
  • Valid board certification (ABMS or NCCPA), PA Certification, Family NP Certification, BLS, and NC DEA.
  • Minimum of 12 months of relevant experience in urgent or family care settings.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with procedures such as I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and minor procedures.
  • Familiarity with urgent care workflows and pediatric care.
  • Ability to work within a 60-mile radius of home residence for multiple site support.

Educational and Experience Requirements:
  • Official board certification in family practice for NPs or PAs.
  • At least 12 months of urgent or family care experience.
  • Current licenses and certifications as specified.

Other Requirements:
  • Must pass a clinical screening and participate in required EMR and onboarding training sessions scheduled on set Wednesdays.
  • Support staff includes center managers, medical assistants, patient support assistants, and offsite supervising physicians.
  • No supervision required at the time of patient care, as supervision is provided by an offsite physician.
  • Travel reimbursement is limited to mileage; no travel or lodging expenses covered.
  • Ability to support multiple locations within a 60-mile radius from home.
