Family Law Paralegal (Hybrid in Madison, NJ) ( Full-Time )
Location: Hybrid in Madison, New Jersey, with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote
Salary: $65K - $70K Base Salary

Must Haves:
" Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in family law.
" Paralegal certificate or degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
" Thorough knowledge of family law procedures, rules, and court filings.
" Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Clio, ProLaw, or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and e-filing systems.
" Strong written and verbal communication skills.

My Law Firm Client seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our team.
The ideal candidate will support attorneys in all family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, adoption, and domestic violence cases.
This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
" Draft, review, and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, settlement agreements, and correspondence.
" Assist with case management, including calendaring deadlines, maintaining case files, and tracking court dates.
" Conduct legal research, gather and analyze information, and summarize findings for attorney review.
" Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists; assist attorneys during hearings, trials, and mediations.
" Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel professionally and promptly.
" Manage document production and organize financial records, medical records, and other evidence for family law cases.
" Assist in the preparation of child support and spousal support calculations.
" Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information at all times.

Qualifications:
" Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in family law.
" Paralegal certificate or degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
" Thorough knowledge of family law procedures, rules, and court filings.
" Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Clio, ProLaw, or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and e-filing systems.
" Strong written and verbal communication skills.
" Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
" Compassionate and professional demeanor when dealing with clients under challenging circumstances.
