Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our reputable team in Houston.

This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to handle complex and challenging cases in divorce, child custody, child support, and more. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for family law, who is ready to make a significant impact on our clients' lives.

Responsibilities:

As a Family Law Attorney, you will be responsible for managing family law cases from beginning to end. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing expert legal advice in the areas of child custody, child support, divorce, spousal support, adoption, and other family law matters.
  • Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents related to family law cases.
  • Conducting thorough case investigations to uncover evidence and prepare for trial.
  • Collaborating with our team of attorneys to develop strategies for complex cases.
  • Staying updated on the latest changes in family law and advising clients accordingly.
  • Building relationships with clients and providing them with compassionate and effective legal representation.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing family law
  • Admission to the Texas State Bar.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Proficiency in using legal software and technology.
