Mayersohn Law Group, P.A. is expanding and seeking a Junior Family Law Attorney who wants to learn, contribute, and grow within a dynamic, well‑structured, and highly respected firm. You’ll work closely with senior attorneys, gain courtroom experience, and manage a variety of family law matters - all within a team that values clarity, communication, and professional development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Advocacy & Case Work

• Represent clients in divorce, custody, support, post‑judgment, dependency, and domestic violence matters under partner guidance
• Develop case strategies aligned with client goals and applicable law
• Participate in hearings, mediations, negotiations, and other proceedings appropriate to your experience
• Maintain consistent, supportive interaction with clients, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment

Litigation Support & Legal Drafting

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, agreements, and related documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy
• Prepare organized, court‑ready case files with mentorship from senior attorneys

Collaboration & Case Management

• Work closely with paralegals, support staff, and external professionals
• Assist in reviewing work completed by legal support staff
• Maintain accurate case records, track billable time, and uphold firm policies, and legal and ethical standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed Florida attorney in good standing
• JD from an accredited law school
• Some family law experience (divorce, custody, support, post‑judgment, dependency, or domestic violence)
• Some litigation experience (hearings, mediations, or trials)
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Team‑oriented, organized, coachable, and eager to grow within the firm
